• Sparx meets SAFe

More and more organisations are adapting an agile approach for software development, information architectures and becoming a lean organisation. But what will change for software modelling, enterprise architectures and portfolio management?

To find answers the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) can help organisations to find a structured approach to introduce an agile organisation. This structured approach will require modelling activities! How can Sparx Enterprise Architect as our favourite modelling tool be part of this?

For these questions we (The Future Group and EAxpertise) will organise a full day Event with this title on the 25th of September in Zoetermeer!

Wat houdt de training in?

During this event three sessions from expert speakers

Who needs an agile architect?
Half a day workshop about the key “action” tools that defines the agile architect. How to act with uncertainty? How to stay in control and still move fast with the teams? How to speed up decision making with the business?

By Frank Langeveld

SAFe Agile Architecture: where does it hurt?:
A half day workshop introducing SAFe, a practical approach towards agile architecture, the importance of modeling and tool support, and how Sparx Enterprise Architect can realize this via an MDG (will be made available via the Sparx Community)

By Rudi Claes

SAFe in practice at het Digitaal Stelsel voor de Omgevingswet

Het digitaal stelsel voor de Omgevingswet (DSO) is a crucial part of one of the largest legislative operations after the Second World War. The system will make all information of the physical living environment available in one place and will process license applications on the basis of applicable rules. The development of laws and regulations and the enormous organizational change challenge go hand in hand with the development of both national and local information facilities. Control over capabilities, an emergent architecture and the Scalable Agile Frame (SAFe) have shown to offer a solution. In this session you will learn why, but you will also hear how this has developed. After almost 15 program increments of 3 months, the necessary lessons have been learned. Of course, the corona measures have had the necessary effects, but these are certainly not all negative.

Voor wie is de training bedoeld?
Are you an enterprise architect, a business analyst, a process or information modeller and is agile working an important aspect in your daily work than this event is essential for you!

Rudi Claes

Rudi is a senior solution architect and enterprise architect, associated with inno.com (www.inno.com). Since 2006, I have been implementing, teaching, coaching, and realizing projects with Sparx Enterprise Architect for various organizations in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg. During the last 2 years, I have had the opportunity to participate in various projects using the SAFe Scaled Agile Framework as a delivery method, actively fulfilling the roles of an enterprise architect as well as a system architect. These experiences have resulted into the SAFe Agile Architecture Toolkit for Sparx, a free MDG that will be made available via the Sparx Community.

Frank Langeveld
